Full time, permanent position
Our client is looking to hire a DOT Truck Compliance Manager. You must have experience managing a fleet of trucks ensuring DOT regulation compliance and experience bringing any non-compliant trucks into compliance. You also need experience planning truck delivery routes based on several variables including time, distance, region and DOT regulations. Experience in scheduling truck maintenance tests according to DOT regulations is also required.
Our client owns a company that uses airplanes to spray farms with pesticides in a majority of states throughout the country. They have many pilots and aircraft that travel throughout the country. Currently the customers call their pilots directly. Our client is centralizing the process and looking to hire 1 person in charge. In this position, you would be in charge of coordinating and planning all the routes for all the groups of pilots and aircraft by taking into account geographic location, time, DOT regulations and seasonality. You'll also be responsible for ensuring aircraft stay on DOT maintenance and repair schedules that ensure maximum flight time. DOT knowledge is required because the company has 1 truck that they need to ensure is in DOT compliance at all times, but this will be a minor portion of the job. Aircraft knowledge is not required- you will be trained over the first few months. If you have experience managing fleets of trucks for DOT compliance and coordinating truck routes, then you'll be a great fit for this position.
